The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) is seeking a full-time Surgical Technician to join the team! This position plays a vital role in performing veterinary technician duties for the Senior Director of Veterinary Services.
Responsibilities for this position are but not limited to :
- Cleaning and sanitation of the surgical area
- Entering data pertaining to surgical procedures of both in and outpatients
- Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and modeling safe work practices.
- Ensure all animals are properly cared for including administering anesthesia, monitoring animals pre, intra, and post operatively
- Other Duties as assigned
