POSITION SUMMARY

Anisa International is seeking a results-driven IT Operations Manager with a strong analytical mindset and expertise in enhancing operational efficiency through technology. This key role will involve shaping IT infrastructure, identifying gaps, mitigating risks, and championing IT security best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-level device and platform management, cybersecurity, CRM, ERP systems, and other critical IT domains, enabling them to support cross-functional teams and drive impactful change.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the IT Operations Manager will oversee the management of networks, hardware, software, and IT processes, with a focus on SaaS platform optimization, data management, and cybersecurity. The role will also manage employee onboarding / offboarding, access controls, help desk programs, and respond to end-user requests while ensuring platform efficiency across the organization. Collaboration with the IT Manager at our China Tianjin facility will be essential for standardizing IT infrastructure, security, and maintenance practices across regions.

Key Responsibilities :

IT Infrastructure & Platform Management :

  • In collaboration with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), analyze business requirements, develop, and oversee tailored IT solutions to meet the company's platform needs. This involves continuously monitoring the performance of IT systems and SaaS platforms, ensuring that they are optimized for efficiency and productivity. The IT Operations Manager will provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements, manage updates and upgrades, and continually look for ways to reduce risk for all SaaS platforms, troubleshooting any issues that may arise to minimize disruptions.

Network & IT Management :

  • Oversee the company’s IT network, including firewalls, VPN, routers, and operating systems, ensuring security, performance, and maintenance. This role involves managing hardware inventory, resolving network issues promptly, providing remote support, and ensuring smooth onboarding / offboarding processes. Additionally, the manager will maintain vendor relationships, ensure SLA compliance, and support daily IT operations, including troubleshooting and upgrades.
  • Privacy & Security :

  • Ensure the highest standards of security and data privacy across all IT systems and platforms, championing the company’s privacy policies and staying informed on evolving regulations. This role includes conducting regular risk assessments, audits, and implementing security improvements, while collaborating with teams to integrate privacy and security into business operations. Additionally, the manager will develop and maintain business continuity, incident response, and disaster recovery plans, ensuring alignment with international data privacy regulations such as GDPR.
  • Global Coordination :

  • Lead weekly meetings with IT stakeholders in China to ensure alignment in systems, documentation, and best practices, while providing guidance and support to the China IT team on key IT initiatives.
  • Training & Documentation :

  • Develop and deliver training to maximize the effective use of systems and platforms, while creating, updating, and communicating IT standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role includes maintaining comprehensive documentation for all hardware, software, and network configurations to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology or a related field.
  • Advanced training in systems management and cybersecurity.
  • 5-7 years of progressive IT management experience, including network and security management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing sensitive data with the utmost trust, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Okta, PowerShell, and device management platforms like Kandji and CrowdStrike.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage facility IT related vendors.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange & Server, Box, Salesforce, NetSuite, and Monday.
  • Ability to travel to China, as needed.
  • After hour support is requested, as needed.
  • Familiar with security best practices and common frameworks including but not limited to OWASP, Zero Trust Architecture, COBIT 2019 and ISO 27001, data privacy frameworks such as GDPR a plus
  • Additional Skills :

  • Must be highly available to the team.
  • Ability to handle IT-related troubleshooting and provide on-call support as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 15-25 pounds occasionally.
  • This role requires proactive thinking, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives across the teams.
