Job Title : Field Engineer
Location : DC
Pay : $30-$40
Job Summary : Responsible for the design, specifications and management of installations of integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that systems are commissioned honoring the design SOF, Technical Scope of Work, and customer intent.
- Confirm that the system design meets the scope of work and is congruent with the client expectations for system operation.
- Modify system engineering as needed while documenting redline updates on system drawings.
- Provide clear and concise documentation on any configurations needed for successful implementation (i.e., network configurations, video settings, DSP settings, etc.).
- Identify and assist in change orders during the project installation phase and notify the Project Manager.
- Diagnose and correct system deficiencies and develop effective solutions.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective lines of communication with other team members.
- Ensure project managers are well informed on the status of development effort and programming status of assigned projects.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and documentation of control programming standards to include graphical appearance, custom code, and system functionality if one has not yet been established.
- Ensure all new code adheres to the Solutionz standards and complies with the Solutionz “standard templates.”
- Program audio DSPs to meet system functionality and EQ the system to provide optimal performance based on the system requirements.
