Job Summary
Anita's Kitchen Ferndale is looking for a Kitchen Line Supervisor to play a crucial role in overseeing & assisting the daily operations of the kitchen. Daily responsibilities would include, ensuring that food production meets quality standards and that the team operates efficiently. This position involves working a kitchen line station daily. The Kitchen Supervisor can expect to be coordinating food preparation, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of working in high volume kitchens, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, attention to detail, as well as ensuring recipe adherence & quality.
Duties
- Station Prep & supervision of kitchen staff.
- Actively working station during shifts
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate food preparation for various services including catering orders, banquets and special events.
- Managing & maintaining the stocking of stations on the line.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Monitor staff performance, providing feedback to management.
- Receiving vendor deliveries & checking in orders.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
- Proven experience within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Proficient in food preparation methods with an emphasis on quality control.
- Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus.
- Experience with banquet service and large-scale food production is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
