Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative, Account Manager or Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and years of solid experience in industrial valves. Technical sales experience on actuators will be an added advantage, with a strong focus on new business development and account management. This role requires an individual who can identify new opportunities, build lasting relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities:
- Developing and creating new business accounts, particularly with end-users, EPCs, and supply houses.
- Establishing and growing made-to-order accounts.
- Setting sales revenue goals and striving to achieve them.
- Secure product spec in to ensure the Company is listed as an approved vendor or approved manufacturer.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to promote brand loyalty and foster long-term partnerships.
- Safeguarding the Company’s interests by maintaining professionalism and integrity in all aspects of your work.
- Assisting in the client qualification process, including completing credit applications and responding to client questionnaires.
- Formulating effective strategies while adhering to resource constraints.
- Participating in company trade shows to promote products and prospect for new customers.
- Accurately and promptly updating the Company’s CRM system, time attendance records, calendar, and tracking system.
- Managing working hours productively and efficiently in the Company’s best interest.
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with management.
- Performing any other business operation responsibilities assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of solid sales experience in the relevant valves and fittings industry, with good product knowledge and proven sales track records in industrial stainless steel/cast steel valves or valve actuation products
- Comfortable working independently and collaborate with internal business development team.
- Required to travel for scheduled appointments, meetings, promotional events, and trade shows.
- Excellent salesmanship and public relations skills required.
- Excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrate strong social and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.
- Required to travel for scheduled appointments and meetings.
- Honest, hardworking, responsible, self-motivated, passionate, proactive, team player, self-disciplined, stress-tolerant, takes ownership, analytical, detail-oriented, with good work ethics.
