What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epic Healthy Planet Analyst position at AnMed Health?
The ideal candidate for this position will have a certification in both Epic’s Healthy Planet and Ambulatory module, an understanding of analytics related to population health, good communication skills and teaching abilities. The position is fully integrated with all of Epic’s clinical applications supporting many different roles and workflows, including patient outreach, clinical documentation, care gaps, health maintenance, registries, reporting metrics for quality programs (such as CMS Quality Payment Programs, ACOs, Medical EHR incentive Program), and risk scoring. This position requires an understanding of the core foundation build of EpicCare Ambulatory, Clinical Content Builder and/or EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation relative to supporting Healthy Planet and related population health programs and understanding of cross-functional application integration involving population health.

- Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a Clinical discipline, Computer Science, or Business related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in the healthcare field in a hospital or medical center, Ambulatory setting with experience desired in the building, implementing, and supporting Ambulatory clinical application systems.
- Excellent analysis, problem solving, trouble-shooting and customer service skills.
- Must have or obtain certified status in primary subject area maintaining an active certification status as defined in item number 3 under Specific Duties and Responsibilities.
