What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator - Physician Practice position at AnMed Health?
Serves as an outpatient liaison between the practice, patient, scheduling and other various hospital departments affiliated with Cardiology. Helps to facilitate medical records requests from patients, attorneys, and insurance companies. Assists with work ques as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications: Requires HSD/GED. Use of typing, computer and other office skills in everyday job performance, one to two years. Previous experience in computer billing, filing, typing, etc. Reimbursement of third party carriers and other insurance knowledge also desired. Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding.
