The Scheduling Coordinator schedules appointments for the patients following the policy, procedure and guidelines of the department.
This is a part time position- 20 hours a week Monday through Friday 10am- 2p.m- some flexibility.
This is a very busy practice, we have 7 people that work in this location-there are 2 MDs, 1 APN, 2 CMA, 1 receptionist and 1 scheduling coordinator.
We are looking for someone that has experience handling heavy scheduling and prior authorizations.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Proficient in computer skills.
