Job Title: Plant Supervisor

Reports to: Quarry Superintendent

Summary: Responsible for direct coordination with the Quarry Superintendent and General Manager. Cooperates with Shop Supervisor, Quality Control Technician, Office Personnel, Office Manager and Sales Manager. Responsible for direct supervision of staff including but not limited to: Plant Operators and Plant Maintenance Personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Responsible for carrying out directives of the Quarry Superintendent pertaining to but not limited to the following:
o Plant operations and production, including:
§ Responsible for plant productivity.
§ Responsible for plant maintenance tools and equipment.
§ Proper care and servicing of plant equipment.
§ Responsible for preventative maintenance.
§ Responsible for repair and maintenance records.
§ Responsible for production records.
§ Responsible for plant parts inventory.
§ Reporting of abuse or lack of repairs and maintenance.
§ Responsible for plant housekeeping.
§ Recommendations to the Quarry Superintendent regarding production, efficiency, plant arrangement, care, servicing, preventative maintenance and daily maintenance.
§ Responsible for Safety and MSHA requirements affecting the processing plants.
§ Responsible for EPA regulations on and around the plant.
§ Responsible for EEO regulations.
o Proper relations with:
§ Land owners with whom we have leases
§ Engineers and inspectors
§ Labor representatives
§ Public
§ City of Anna
