Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Manager to join our team. You will receive commission as well as hourly pay. As a Membership Sales Manager at Annapolis Athletic Club, you will be at the forefront of driving our membership growth and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will lead a team of sales associates, guiding them to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a positive and energetic environment. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead your team to success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve membership growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales associates to drive individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective members to understand their needs and preferences.
- Greet and engage with prospective members to understand their fitness goals and needs.
- Conduct tours of the facility, highlighting amenities, equipment, and services offered.
- Educate potential members on membership options, pricing, and promotions.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to convert leads into membership sales.
- Follow up with leads via phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to close sales.
- Maintain an organized sales log, including membership paperwork and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide the highest level of customer service available
Qualifications:
Previous sales experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a passion for fitness.
Ability to work flexible hours
