Job Description
Nature of Work:
Work with families by implementing the Parents As Teachers (PAT) model, which emphasizes parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting and family well-being. Utilizing the PAT Foundational Curriculum in culturally sensitive ways; partner, facilitate, and reflect with families. Implement the curriculum in the home through ongoing home visits to promote and foster the healthy development of children.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
At least three years of experience in a home-visiting program or community-based program working with young children and families.
OR
Possession of an associate's degree at an accredited college with at least two years of experience in a home-visiting program or community-based program working with young children and families.
OR
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in education, social work, psychology, or a related field, with at least six months to one year of experience in a home-visiting program or community-based program working with young children and families.
Desired or Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish-speaking desired but not required.
