Part Time Child Care Worker

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our young students, ensuring their safety, happiness, and healthy development. This role requires a strong passion for childcare, a commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other childcare professionals. **Duties:** - Plan and implement daily activities, games, and educational programs that promote childhood development and learning. - Provide individualized attention and care to each child, addressing their unique needs and interests. - Develop and maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment, adhering to all safety protocols and first aid guidelines. - Establish and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with each child, encouraging open communication and emotional intelligence. - Collaborate with parents and other childcare professionals to share information about each child's daily activities, progress, and any issues or concerns that may arise. - Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and organized learning environment. - Provide ongoing support and guidance to help children develop important social, emotional, and cognitive skills. - Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities, meals, and any medical issues or concerns. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience working with students, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. - A strong understanding of childhood development and the importance of providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children. - Experience with classroom management and first aid techniques. - A valid certification in childcare or a related field (e.g., CPR, First Aid). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other childcare professionals. - Ability to lift and carry children, as well as perform physical activities related to childcare (e.g., bending, kneeling). - A passion for childcare and a commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. **Skills:** - Nannying experience - Knowledge of childhood development - Experience working with students - Experience with childcare - Experience with classroom management - First aid experience - Toddler care experience - Daycare experience - Caregiving experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends

Experience:

• 90 hour cert.: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
