Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with their IT needs.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to pull, bend, sit, and stoop for extended period of time
- 1-2 years' experience in IT required with a preference in IT specific training.
- Exceptional problem solving, communication and customer service skills required.
- Good driving record and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
- Understanding of Apple IOS, Android and Windows mobile devices; Server & Windows Operating systems, Active Directory, O365, DHCP, VMware; Technology Hardware, Routers, Switches and Access Points, Firewalls and VPN.
Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- Manage Hardware/ Software components from installing, troubleshooting, updating, to configuration of new workstations.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network. Modify configurations, software settings, etc. for approved corporate standards on the local workstation.
- Create or modify user accounts and permissions, and perform password resets.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Educate customers about network security and best practices for computer usage
