Position Overview:
We are seeking a personable, energetic, and detail-oriented Licensed Aesthetician / Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our patients have an exceptional experience at Serenity MedSpa.
We are offering FULL-TIME and PART-TIME roles.
Responsibilities
- Client Care:
- Greet and escort clients to treatment rooms, ensuring a professional and friendly interaction.
- Prepare patients for procedures by gathering medical history and answering pre-treatment questions.
- Assist Physicians and Nurses during non-invasive cosmetic procedures and treatments.
- Perform high-quality facials, skincare treatments, and other aesthetic services, adhering to industry standards and client safety.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and escalating significant issues to management.
- Administrative and Operational Duties:
- Maintain accurate and complete wellness chart documentation for all clients.
- Work with the Clinic Manager, Physicians and Nurses to ensure treatment room readiness, cleanliness, and organization.
- Conduct treatment room inspections and maintain back bar inventory levels.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Adhere to aesthetics policies regarding chemical usage, cleaning, and sanitizing equipment.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the MedSpa to ensure the facility is pristine and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Active California Aesthetician License required.
- California Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is a plus.
- 3 years of industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in performing a wide range of skincare treatments, techniques, and devices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Warm, friendly demeanor with outstanding people skills.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and build trust.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in scheduling software, email, and mobile devices.
**Experience with MDWare or Zenoti is a plus.

Compensation
- $20 - $25 per hour plus tips and commission.
