What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crematory Operator / Customer Relations position at Annie's Healing Hearts, Inc?
Annie's Healing Hearts, Inc Pet Memorial and Cremation has provided Central Oregon communities with exceptional and pet compassionate cremation and remembrance services for over a decade. As the first privately owned and operated animal cremation service in the greater Central Oregon area, we take great pride in serving our community and continue to grow alongside of them. Our company is in need of a qualified individual to perform crematory operations using our state of the art machinery in order to respectfully and professionally complete the cremation process from start to finish.
These duties are listed as followed: (Training is provided for all duties, no previous experience required.)
- Develop an intimate understanding of cremation standard operating procedures.
- Perform entire cremation process confidently and independently based on SOP.
- Be strict in attention to detail throughout the process.
- Confidently lift 50lbs. *This position can be physically taxing and includes lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
- Intake personal clients and compassionately counsel them in their time of need.
- Process intake paperwork, client payments, and special requests.
- Perform daily warehouse cleaning duties.
- Effectively communicate via phone and in person with management, clients, and veterinary personnel to coordinate, schedule, and verify pertinent information.
- Transport animals from Veterinary clinics and/or private client's homes. Return cremains and memorial pieces to Veterinary clinics and/or private client's home.
- This position will require a rotating weekend commitment.
- In order to perform this position to the highest of standards, Annie's is seeking an self-motivated individual that is able to work independently after the 90-day training is completed. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to precisely follow Standard Operating Procedures are extremely important. Annie's employees regularly work one-on-one with grieving clients. In order to be successful, each employee is expected to treat each client with compassion and empathy in a professional manner. Our goal is to help our clients through their grieving process in the best way we can provide, by caring for their beloved animals as if they were our own.
