Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition or behavior.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Administer first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and understanding of resident rights.
- Ability to perform direct support tasks with compassion and respect for clients’ dignity.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare healthy meals.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.
- A valid caregiver certification or relevant training is desirable.
