POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing the clinical and operational performance of multiple clinics and surgery centers within an assigned region. This leadership role focuses on standardizing processes, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. The Regional Director collaborates with senior leadership to drive growth, operational excellence, and clinical effectiveness, ensuring all centers operate at the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve clinical operations and align with the organization's mission and growth objectives.
Provide oversight and direction for multiple locations, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
Create and execute business plans to achieve performance goals set by senior leadership.
Lead and mentor clinical managers, practice administrators, and operational staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Analyze financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and revenue growth.
Identify and implement expansion opportunities, including satellite locations and service enhancements.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, vendors, insurance carriers, and referring providers.
Oversee staffing models and resource allocation to optimize patient flow and service delivery.
Direct marketing, sales, and networking initiatives to enhance practice visibility and patient access.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, corporate policies, and industry regulations.
Monitor and enforce compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and all federal and state healthcare regulations.
Complete and oversee staff compliance training to uphold accreditation and regulatory standards.
Provide regional leadership and oversight of clinical managers, practice administrators, and operational staff across multiple locations.
Ensure compliance training completion and adherence to policies and regulations.
Monitor daily operations to maintain consistency with organizational procedures and compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
Five years of progressive practice experience in lieu of degree considered.
Proven ability to lead and manage multi-site healthcare operations effectively.
Strong financial and operational analysis skills.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic growth initiatives.
Expertise in staff leadership, training, and performance management.
Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and clinical best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
Regular travel required within region, Travel to corporate office may be required quarterly.
