Production (Spray) Gluer - Auburn Hills, MI.
Temporary Assignment (Feb. 5th - Mar. 14th)
Pay Rate : $23.00 per hour
Job Details of the Production (Spray) Gluer :
- Spray Liquid Adhesive to assembly vinyl interior car parts
- Prototype build
- Inspect, position, and hand wrap textiles (leather, vinyl) onto automotive interior assemblies with due caution and care
- Inspect, position, and adhere leather and vinyl to automotive assemblies
- Hand trimming of parts using open razor blades, scalpels, etc.
- Careful use of heat guns to activate adhesives to ensure a sufficient bond of textile to substrate without damaging
- Massaging / finessing of textiles to work out wrinkles, bridging, and alignment of seams, etc.
- Full inspection of product to ensure it meets quality standards before parts leave the station
- Inspect parts for defects
- Conducts cleaning in the work area on a daily basis
