Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
- Evaluate potential investments by performing due diligence, including analyzing business models, financials, and competitive landscapes.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess investment potential and returns.
- Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for internal discussions and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and support portfolio companies, including tracking performance metrics and providing strategic guidance.
- Network with founders, entrepreneurs, and other industry stakeholders to source deal flow and build relationships.
- Participate in investment committee meetings and provide data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create polished presentations and investment memos.
- Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
