Job Summary
What You'll Do :
- Interpret technical drawings to understand required bends, angles, and tolerances for each metal part.
- Activate the machine to bend metal sheets according to the programmed settings, monitoring the process for accuracy.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the bending process, such as machine malfunctions or material defects.
- Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of the press brake, checking for wear and tear on tooling.
- Adhere to all safety procedures related to operating heavy machinery, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
