Reporting to the Director of Engineering the Engineering Manager - MCMS is responsible for designing highly accurate metering equipment for the data center and other industries.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering the Engineering Manager - MCMS is responsible for designing highly accurate metering equipment for the data center and other industries.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead a team to prepare detailed specifications for new products based on marketing requirements.
- Develop electronic hardware for highly accurate metering systems for use in both our products and external customers.
- Design and layout PCBs, select components, create BOMs and work with vendors to produce PCBs.
- Design and perform test procedures on individual subsystems and entire product.
- Work with software developers to create system software.
- Support products after release to manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering. Master’s degree a plus.
- 10 years of experience designing embedded systems (32-bit micro-based)
- Analog and digital circuit design experience
- Working knowledge of hardware support for communication stacks (TCP supporting Modbus, SNMP, and BACnet)
- PCB layout experience with modern tools (Altium, Autodesk or equivalent)
- FPGA design experience (VHDL)
- Software experience (C, C , Javascript, HTML, CSS) is a big plus
- Ability to use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.)
