Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing national partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a designated vertical.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Identify and participate in relevant industry events and trade shows to network and promote Anova Furnishings.
- Ensure prompt and effective customer service and response times.
- Secure appointments for quarterly reviews with national partners.
- Account Retention and Growth: Retain and grow existing accounts.
- Sales Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Behavior Targets: Meet and exceed monthly behavior targets, including strategic meetings, presentations, opportunity meetings, networking events, and referrals.
- Territory Planning: Successfully build out full territory plans within 12 months.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on generating new business and account management.
- Preferred but not required: Understanding of the outdoor furnishings and fixtures industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software, with Salesforce experience preferred.
- Ability to travel for outbound sales 45% of the time.
