Responsibilities
As a Field Application Engineer, you will have responsibility for pre and post-sales support for RF and Microwave test and measurement products. This includes demonstrating key applications to customers and sales teams, as well as training them on theory and operation.
Responsibilities also include:
- Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of key applications
- Pre-sales and Post-sales support for customer applications including on-site and remote support
Reporting to the Field Applications Engineering Manager based in Dallas, Texas, Requirements:
- Minimum BSEE or equivalent
- At least 3 years related industry experience
- Due to customer visits, the candidate must be a U.S Citizen
- Extensive background in RF and Microwave test and measurement
- Expertise in the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters
- Experience with digital modulation and physical layer test of wireless systems is a plus
- Must be willing to travel. Territory to include California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii and some travel to the northeast
