Lead strategic GTM initiatives at a fast growing, Series B financial management software company backed by Sequoia, Index and Khosla Ventures that has raised over $50M
Anrok is pioneering the way in addressing a crucial challenge for businesses worldwide: navigating the complex realm of sales tax and VAT. As tax regulations continue to change and become more intricate, companies require a dependable and automated solution to manage risk and ensure global compliance doesn’t become a drag on their revenue. Anrok’s cutting-edge platform seamlessly integrates with various billing and payment systems, streamlining sales tax monitoring, registration, reconciliation, and filing across multiple jurisdictions.
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying ways to enhance our value proposition to partners and execute on these strategies. You will collaborate extensively with our partners, as well as Sales, Marketing and Product, to refine our GTM methods and enhance our partner-market fit. This role is well-suited for someone with a strategic background, coming from Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital or Private Equity, and who enjoys the outward-facing nature of business development and portfolio operations. Our existing team has over two decades of experience at firms like Citi, Deutsche Bank, PwC, Stone Point Capital, Cetana Growth Partners and Sapphire Ventures.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and develop opportunities for engagement, for example with advisory partners, including attending in-person events across the US, to expand relationships with relevant partners in the software industry
- Work cross-functionally to refine our partner-driven product offerings (notably, sales tax advisory services and international compliance) to ensure a smooth customer experience and maximum go-to-market impact
- Work closely with our Sales Strategy teams to refine our Partner GTM operations and cadence – this is about designing a refined process, not managing Salesforce!
- Create enablement materials to ensure seamless collaboration between partners and Anrok’s sales / customer teams
What excites us:
- 4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, venture capital and/or private equity. Experience sourcing / working with clients directly is a strong plus

- Exceptional written and live communication skills with an emphasis on being clear, concise, and informative.
- You are a self-starter and have a track record of navigating ambiguity and producing concrete results.
- You have a gift for fostering genuine relationships quickly and identifying common ground.
- You are up to travel domestically 1-2x per quarter.
What we offer:
- The equity upside of an early-stage startup with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100%.
- One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits and more.
- Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, and conferences, as well as a curious team to share your learnings with.
- Team offsites and gatherings at the SF HQ office throughout the year
