What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lecturer, Department of Theology position at Anselm of Canterbury?
The Department of Theology at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a part-time faculty position to begin immediately. The successful candidate will teach one section of Biblical Theology. This is an on-ground course scheduled to meet Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 : 00-2 : 15pm during the spring semester.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching ability and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Bede Bidlack, Department Chair, Theology via the college website. Three letters of recommendation are required and should be submitted in PDF format via email to the Office of the Academic Dean at dean@anselm.edu. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and until the position is filled.
Required Skills and Experience :
A Ph.D. in Theology is preferred though ABD or masters degree candidates will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level as well as scholarly research.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
