(ANSER) is seeking a Correspondence and Operations Analyst to support the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) within the Office of the Performance Improvement Officer and Director of Administration and Management (OPIO-DA&M). In this role, you will provide support to Directorate leadership, government Action Officer's and Subject Matter Expert's, and the contract team. You will accurately distribute incoming and outgoing unclassified and classified documents, provide subject matter expertise, and carry out day-to-day operational and administrative activities to support the OSD mission and its most senior leaders, the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, and the Military.

(ANSER) is seeking a Correspondence and Operations Analyst to support the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) within the Office of the Performance Improvement Officer and Director of Administration and Management (OPIO-DA&M). You will accurately distribute incoming and outgoing unclassified and classified documents, provide subject matter expertise, and carry out day-to-day operational and administrative activities to support the OSD mission and its most senior leaders, the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense, and the Military.
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and implement routine office technical/administrative procedures and standards to include document preparation and coordination, filing, formatting, reproduction, and distribution as required by the office mission.
- Provide assistance to action officers and contractor team members as needed in managing taskers, scheduling meetings, preparing read-ahead information, preparing meeting presentation material, documenting meetings, tracking action items, and preparing appropriate correspondence.
- Prepare metrics, weekly action reports of critical suspense data, weekly reconciliation between internal/external program offices of pending/overdue actions, and identify discrepancies to government personnel.
- Provide assistance to government personnel with the development of business methods and procedures, including administrative systems, file systems, office systems, process flows, and production schedules to support Correspondence and Task Management System's (CATMS).
- Create and implement training guides and support training of staff members in the structure and missions of the DA&M, OSD and the Components, CATMS, and proper preparation of signature packages, and using the correspondence guidance and suspense tracking system.
- Provide Organizational and Management DoD briefing resources preparation, Office of Legislative Counsel Green Sheet support assignment and tracking, human resources, IT, security, facilities management, to include:
- Answering and routing phone calls and greeting/escorting guests,
- In-processing new personnel (DD1172; DD2249; DD2875),
- Requesting and managing all equipment and furniture inventory,
- Suite access, SCIF maintenance, and burn bag destruction,
- Resolution of IT and network issues, and
- Ordering/maintaining supplies
- Secret clearance
- Provide support full-time on-site 5 days a week.
- Support a required shift with coverage ranging from 6:30 am β 5:00 pm.
- Prior experience working with and/or supporting senior-level officials and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.
- Demonstrated proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Expertise in project management, metric development and comparison, and other data-based capabilities for effective management of complex organizations.
- Focus on operational and project performance/improvement with knowledge of tools that enable effective office operational processes.
