Job Title: Primary Care Physician
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to eligible beneficiaries of the Texas City VA Clinic, including comprehensive primary care services, women's health, and acute and chronic conditions management.
- Work with clinic staff to schedule new and follow-up patients, taking history, physical examinations, ordering laboratories and diagnostic studies, diagnosis, and formulation of treatment plans.
- Order and monitor medications for patients using the VA Formulary, querying State Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs), and obtaining IMED consents prior to prescribing or dispensing medications.
- Provide primary care services supporting a continuum of care from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, referral, and follow-up for simple to moderately complex workload.
- Refer patients to specialty care services as appropriate, admission to hospital care when indicated, and patient education and counseling.
- Complete all patient documentation in a timely manner utilizing the CPRS system, meeting CMS guidelines for documentation, including History, Exam, and Medical decision making.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or Territory.
- Active NPI report.
- Active DEA license.
- Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation.
