What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creation Museum Culinary Services Coordinator position at Answers In Genesis Group?
The coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day running of inside activity related to food service. Guest experience is of highest priority. This coordinator position focuses on indoor and outdoor venues and their staff, the specific food items, and their respective ingredients. Therefore, this position focuses on, but is not limited to, the following areas: staff involved in the preparation and sale of food, ensuring proper quantities of food items are prepped, rotated, and stocked each day.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Responsibilities

- Give utmost attention to food presentation to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
- Ensure that the safety and hygienic operations of the cooking areas are adhered to by members of staff.
- Enforce standards, departmental goals, and procedures.
- Monitor all indoor and outdoor venue activities to ensure that professional standards and procedures are maintained.
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
- Customer service skills: friendly and courteous with customers.
- Attention to details: eyes on food standards, costs, safety.
- Management skills: capable of working with a wide range of staff.
- Organizational skills: provides oversight of schedules, preparation and storage of food, and cleaning.
- Problem-solving skills: ability to multitask and think quickly under pressure.
Education & Experience
- 2 years food service experience preferred.
- Health department and Serve Safe certified or willingness to re-certify.
- A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook email is helpful.
