Antelope, an omni-channel, pet consumer platform, was founded in August 2021 with the mission to elevate the lives of pets by delivering the highest quality products across all pet products and services via a buy and build strategy. "Ante" means to increase the stakes or consideration of, and "lope" means to leap with bounding steps-together, we are elevating the standards of pet care by buying, building and growing high-quality, natural pet brands. We're backed by Alpine Investors and have made four acquisitions so far (Bocce's Bakery, Diggin' Your Dog / Super Snouts, Doggo, My Perfect Pet and Ark Naturals), and we're still just getting started! We have plans to acquire 5-15 additional all-natural, high-quality brands to become the one-stop-shop for pet parents.
ROLE
Antelope is looking for undergraduate interns to work closely with our portfolio companies growth / e-commerce strategy, and various other special projects. This role will give you the chance to dive into e-commerce at a fast-paced startup while also getting exposure to private equity roll-ups.
This is a remote, part-time role (10-20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling to accommodate your class commitments.
Potential projects include :
- Content Optimization : Drive conversion improvements across Amazon & Chewy through A / B testing and new item setup to improve customer experience
- Ticket Management : own ticket inputs and resolutions for Chewy and Amazon issues including item availability, product page optimizations, and content updates
- Data Analysis & Reporting : analyze purchase order data to draw conclusions about inventory and sales performance, report weekly data in department and customer meetings
- Pricing Strategy and Enforcement : scrape online prices weekly and escalate products for price alignment, manage documentation sent to unauthorized sellers, and daily pricing tool management
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, graduating in Spring 2025 or 2026.
- Daily availability to work on projects and meet with team members.
- Passionate about entrepreneurship, consumer brands, and pets (being a pet owner is a plus)!
- A self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- Creative, innovative, and comfortable thinking outside the box.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be comfortable to ask questions.
