Job Summary
ARA is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work on antenna systems development. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the software development lifecycle for cutting-edge antenna technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work with experienced engineers on designing, developing, and optimizing software tools used for antenna performance analysis, simulation, and testing. Essential Functions

- Software Development: Assist in developing and enhancing software tools for antenna system design, simulation, and performance analysis.
- Algorithm Design: Contribute to the creation of algorithms for electromagnetic simulations, radiation pattern analysis, and signal processing.
- Testing and Validation: Help create automated tests and participate in software validation processes to ensure antenna systems perform optimally.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, to integrate software solutions with antenna systems.

Experience and Skills
- Proficiency in Programming Languages: Experience in C , Python is a plus.
- Ability to develop, test, debug, and document software.
- Software Development Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Debugging Ability to recognize issues that arise during development or testing.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture, hardware-software interfacing, and real-time constraints is a plus.
- Knowledge of reading schematics is a plus.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year college program, working toward a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
