Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Coordinator to elevate our brand’s online presence and expand our reach across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a strategic mindset to develop, execute, and manage engaging social media content while identifying opportunities to feature our work in top-tier industry publications.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Digital Presence
- Organize, plan, and execute a content calendar that aligns with company goals.
- Manage and update social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), creating engaging content and interacting with followers.
- Present social media plans and performance reports in weekly staff meetings.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure the company website remains up to date and relevant.
- Develop and execute proactive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, including pitching content to interior design publications, blogs, and influencers.
- Identify and secure media features by researching and building relationships with industry leaders and digital platforms.
Program & Event Coordination
- Oversee and manage media outreach applications to ensure AMI is continuously published in top industry outlets.
- Visit job sites to capture content for progress photos and behind-the-scenes social media updates.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
- Familiarity with the interior design industry and current digital trends.
- Social media management experience (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Experience with content scheduling and event planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media analytics tools.
