Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and meet client expectations. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, employees, and clients to negotiate contracts and ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize landscaping and tree service estimating software to create detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project management teams to assess project requirements and develop comprehensive cost control strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs and present findings to management and employees.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape and tree service management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in landscaping estimating software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
