Child Development Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Development Support Specialist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a member of our team, you will provide essential support to students with special needs and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work and a valid Social Work license issued in the state of Michigan. They will also possess a School Social Work Certificate (SSW-310) and experience working with ASD students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with special education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized programs for students.
- Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students and special education students.
- Conduct collaborative consultations with general education and special education teachers to develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans.
- Complete functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members.
- Facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success.
Support Provided:
- We offer 1:1 mentorship and caseload support provided by our Clinical Support Manager.
- Bi-weekly team meetings where you can network and brainstorm with colleagues.
- Dedicated SSW Clinical support, including access to a materials database and an additional stipend.
