Elementary School Social Worker

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work and be approved to work in schools in Michigan. Previous experience as a school social worker is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counseling and Intervention Strategies: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address personal, social, and academic issues.
- Social-Emotional Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to improve student behavior and academic performance.
- Crisis Response and Management: Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations involving students, including mental health emergencies and family crises.

- Dedicated Caseload Support: Receive guidance and support from the LCDSW Director of Social Work throughout the school year.

This position is located in Michigan with a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
