About The Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support students in Royal Oak, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. As part of our team, you’ll provide social-emotional support, advocate for student success, and collaborate with educators and families to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Support students and families in accessing community resources.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Michigan School Social Work Certification (SSW-310).
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $55,000-$75,000, based on experience (paid weekly)
