The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker who is passionate about providing social work services to help students succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop individualized programs that address the unique needs of each student.
- Provide social work support to general education and special education students as mandated by IEPs.
- Monitor progress towards IEP goals and participate in student IEP meetings.
- Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and other support staff.
- Facilitate referrals to community resources to support student success.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Valid Social Work license issued in the state of Michigan.
- School Social Work Certificate (SSW-310).
