Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with disabilities
- Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel
- Develop and implement programs to promote social skills, resilience, and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on student social-emotional needs
- Connect families with community resources and support services
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement
