About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Operations Specialist to join our Regulatory Operations team, ensuring Anthropic can meet expanding regulatory requirements as we grow rapidly. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing our regulatory compliance operational processes across multiple areas of regulatory compliance, such as managing our copyright notice process. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented person who excels at operational execution, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements and related-company policies are met as we expand internationally and scale our customer-base
- Support privacy and copyright compliance operational needs, including managing user communications and takedown processes
- Oversee operational processes to maintain FedRAMP accreditation, including documentation management and cross-functional alignment
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency
- Track compliance KPIs and prepare reports for senior leadership on regulatory operations metrics
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 3 years of broad experience in regulatory compliance, operations, or a related field, preferably in a fast-growing technology company
- Are able to execute operational processes that ensure regulatory compliance and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners
- Possess strong knowledge of regulatory compliance processes, particularly in areas such as copyright takedowns
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and are comfortable with ambiguity
- Are enthused by and comfortable working across several different areas of regulatory compliance
- Have excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Are detail-oriented with a track record of maintaining high standards of accuracy in compliance-related work
- Have experience with and enjoy doing behind-the-scenes work that is essential and highly valuable, though at times unglamorous
