Job Summary
Anthurium Human Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Professionals to support a new youth Community Residential Services program (children’s group home) in Saint Cloud! This role involves providing direct supervision, emotional support, and daily care in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will model healthy behavior, assist with daily routines, coordinate activities, and help the youth build life skills that promote independence and personal growth. A trauma-informed, patient, and flexible approach is essential for fostering trust and stability.
We are looking to hire 2 full-time day positions, 2 full-time overnight positions, and one part-time overnight position.
Pay starts at $22 an hour.
This position would start May 8th.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health needs to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Working within various 245D program settings DSPs provide personal care, support daily living activities, document and report on client progress, and help clients achieve their goals. This role requires a compassionate, flexible, and team-oriented approach to ensure high-quality, person-centered support and adherence to state regulations and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A High School Diploma or GED. Experience in direct support, healthcare, mental health, or a related field preferred.
2. A valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
3. A clear DHS background check.
4. Must be able to perform physical activities related to care provision, including lifting, bending, and assisting with mobility.
5. Completion of required DSP training, including First Aid, crisis intervention, and medication administration, or ability to complete training upon hire.

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support and advocate for clients effectively.
2. Flexibility and adaptability in providing person-centered care and adjusting to the unique needs of each individual served.
