We’re Hiring: Daycare Teacher at Antigo Child Care Inc
We’re looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable teacher to join our team! If you love working with little ones and want to be a part of a supportive, family-like environment, we’d love to meet you. This role is all about helping infants through preschoolers learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and engaging space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating fun, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
- Providing gentle, attentive care to our youngest kiddos—especially infants
- Encouraging exploration, creativity, and kindness in the classroom
- Helping guide children through behaviors with patience and positive strategies
- Keeping parents in the loop about their child’s progress and any concerns
- Making sure the classroom stays clean, safe, and well-organized
- Working alongside your coworkers to create the best experience possible for our kids
- Taking part in ongoing learning opportunities—we’re big believers in growing together!
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus
- Understanding of child development is important
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a bonus
- Basic first aid knowledge is helpful
- Any experience in infant care, nannying, or classroom management is a win
- Most importantly: a heart for children and a desire to create an inclusive, loving space
Required Training (Completed Before/After Start Date): At Antigo Child Care Inc, we’re committed to setting our team up for success. That’s why we require the following training:
- Introduction to the Child Care Profession
- Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
- CPR/First Aid
- Abusive Head Trauma & Safe Sleep
- Child Abuse and Neglect (Mandated Reporter)
