Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef with experience in crafting high-quality pizzas using traditional and modern techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in dough preparation, hand-stretching, and working with various toppings, cheeses, and sauces to create outstanding pizzas.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas using a wood-fired, gas, or electric oven.
- Hand-stretch and shape dough to achieve the perfect crust consistency.
- Create and manage pizza toppings, sauces, and cheese combinations.
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times for consistent quality.
- Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations, managing prep and service times.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new pizza recipes and specials.
- Manage ingredient inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a restaurant or pizzeria.
- Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with different types of ovens (wood-fired, deck, or conveyor).
- Passion for high-quality ingredients and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Culinary certification is a plus but not required.
Salary: based on experience.
