What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at Antithesis?
We’re looking for a travel-dusty wordslinger, someone who loves language but isn’t a purist, who enjoys writing in service of commerce.
You have to be conversant, or at least comfortable learning, both deeply technical concepts and B2B marketing basics, as well as curious and energetic enough to actually get to the bottom of what you’re writing.
Responsibilities
You have to be conversant, or at least comfortable learning, both deeply technical concepts and B2B marketing basics, as well as curious and energetic enough to actually get to the bottom of what you’re writing.
Responsibilities
- Your primary concern, at first, will be marketing copy for our website.
- This will expand to encompass content on other channels, in particular, blog and newsletter content, as well as collateral and client enablement material.
- Be willing to jump in on other writing and editing projects as well, because we’ve got a lot of them.
- If you have any research, journalism, or design experience, expect to use it!
- Facility with words and technical concepts. You’ll be asked to do a writing exercise but not a coding one. If you have a relevant writing sample, submit it!
- Ideal backgrounds: journalists/freelance writers, academics whose research touches on quantitative or technical concepts (i.e. engineering is great, but so’s history of science).
- If you have B2B marketing, tech world, or product organization experience in addition to one of the above, your resume will be top of the pile.
