Overview

Porter Novelli is looking for a full-time Senior Copywriter who is a master wordsmith that thrives in using all types of marketing to change behavior. A creative writer who has a proven track record in traditional and nontraditional mediums but still has more to prove. We're not looking for someone who can just write copy and be grammatically correct, you must be able to think conceptually and beyond the list of deliverables-and be adaptable. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact on the audiences we reach while pushing the boundaries and elevating our clients. The primary part of this role involves coming up with creative solutions for government-related issues, however, the position may ask for you to work on consumer and healthcare clients as well.

What's on Your Plate :

• Concepting, writing and leading creative for government accounts focused on improving the lives of others.
• Opportunities to work across other client portfolios, including consumer and healthcare.
• In charge of the voice and style of every client you touch-whether that is an already established voice and style or a new one you create.
• Deploy creative solutions and stellar copy that answers the creative brief and wows your peers and clients in a fast-paced and pressure-tested environment.
• Work with art directors, creative directors, designers, producers, strategists and account teams to develop inspiring work.
• Multitask multiple clients and projects while mentoring junior staff.
• Internal and client presentations to sell your ideas in a way no one can say "no" to.
• Address challenges with a high level of emotional intelligence and flexibility while working with diverse clients.
• Helping lead internal creative teams and external vendors.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
