Antony M. George, MD MPH LLC is a private medical practice affiliated with multiple hospitals and medicals systems in the area - we are currently apart of Premier Physicians. Dr. George is a non-surgical musculoskeletal specialist who treats mainly work and sport related injuries. ```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule and confirm appointments using E-Clinical Works
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed (using ECW)
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including filling out forms, filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Help move patients in and out of rooms, as well as cleaning and reseting the rooms
- Assist in calling other doctors, lawyers, and insurance companies to retreive patient/case information as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
```Skills```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using medical scheduling software (specifically with ECW is a bonus)
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi task is pertinent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff *with respect and grace*
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Experience with Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) procedures and paperwork is a huge plus!
