Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment on Friday 14th February at Astor Table in Katy, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and possess strong communication skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Ensure cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in all food handling practices.
Skills
- Experience with Aloha POS or OpenTable preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, particularly in high-pressure situations like nightclubs or busy restaurants.
- Previous experience in culinary settings is a plus, as it enhances understanding of menu items and preparation methods.
- Strong upselling techniques to maximize guest satisfaction and sales opportunities.
