What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Dispatcher position at Anytime Plumber?
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Service Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially during high-volume situations. You must be able to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to route our team to ensure maximum scheduling efficiency without compromising client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Route technicians to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Address problems and requests
- Receive and dispatch work orders
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
- Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements
- Enter data in our system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information
- Additionally, you perform basic office duties
- Work Hours: Full time; Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Qualifications
Dispatching experience is highly favorable but not required we will train the right person
- Knowledge of relevant CRMs, preferably House Call Pro or Service Titan preferred
- Fast typing with experience in data entry
- Must be able to communicate clearly (oral and written) (required)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills (required)
- Sound judgment and critical thinking with problem solving skills
- 2 years of Customer service
- Must pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
