Industry leading sales and marketing firm interested in meeting Sales Associate candidates. The primary role is selling residences in a new development condominium, being a contributing team member to the sales gallery operations and contributing to the marketing of the site by the assisting with broker outreach, listings and participating in events and cross-marketing initiatives.
The Sales Associate must be an expert on the building they represent and highly knowledgeable about the general marketplace and the primary and secondary comparable properties while being careful to make only clear and accurate representations.
The Sales Associate will work to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by surpassing the customer’s expectations. They will earn the trust and respect of their customers and team members by providing accurate information, employing empathy and sincerity in all interactions, following through on promises and following up to facilitate sales and service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become knowledgeable of the product, procedures, legalities, sales strategies, brokerage community and competitive marketplace and trends throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Meet with brokers and prospects to present the offering utilizing sales gallery digital tools, building model and floorplans to sell real estate.
- Follow up with brokers and clients to finalize sales terms and prepare sales contracts for signature.
- Distribute public offering statement to begin attorney review periods and follow up with all parties to the contract to ensure deadlines are met for signature and deposit requirements.
- Assist with the development and implementation of broker outreach programs with the support of marketing and direction of managing director.
- Update listings to provide most accurate information to co-brokerage community.
- Closely monitor ad response, media effectiveness, be knowledgeable of media schedule, upcoming mailings, events and other outreach.
- Contribute to marketing effort by identifying sales supports for customer needs.
- Meet and greet clients, establish trust and rapport, provide informative sales presentation catering to customer’s needs, values and concerns, overcome objections, contribute to team’s presentations best responses / ways to present / position property
- Follow-up with attorneys (both sellers and buyers) to facilitate contract signing. Follow-up on all questions and requests of buyers requiring a response from the Seller.
- Follow-up with customers and brokers via phone and email. Make sure all leads are actively pursued and that a written dialog is maintained of all client communications (ideally such information is in customer contact database).
Qualifications:
- 5 years of new development sales and brokerage experience.
- New Jersey Real Estate license required.
- Working knowledge of RE marketing, advertising or public relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and to interact effectively with diverse personalities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
