Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated K-8th Math Teacher to join our educational team In a small private school/learning center environment For the 2025-2026 school year.The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful activities, and foster a love for learning. This role requires the traditional teaching hat to be tossed and the non traditional teaching creativity to be the foundation. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Create a supportive classroom environment amongst learning pods that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular learning snapshot testing, assignments, and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and inclusivity among students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Education or a related field is required.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in lesson planning and classroom management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools is a plus.
