Health Solutions Actuarial Vice President

What the Day will Look Like :
- Lead actuary on client teams, leading actuarial projects and client relationship
- Influence clients' overall strategic and financial direction in benefits; frame results in the context of the marketplace
- Project savings / costs related to health benefits and applicable changes
- Mentor and leverage work to less experienced actuaries
- Review health care budgets and contribution setting
- Make statements of actuarial opinion and lead analysis behind them; directly responsible for all actuarial deliverables
- Communicate actuarial results to clients; lead all financial meetings, explaining actuarial results and potential alternatives
- Assist in benchmarking discussions with clients, including strategy evolution as a result of benchmarking data
- Perform IBNP reserve development
- Review models to evaluate cost-saving scenarios
- Seek and provide peer review to ensure high quality client deliverables
- Develop general consulting skills, knowledge, and exposure
How this opportunity is different :
Your role will include participating in client account management, allow you build and manage strong and sustainable relationships with clients, and will require you to respond to the needs and objectives of leadership of Aons insurance and reinsurance practices. The role is for an individual with a strong analytics background who is interested in actuarial and strategic consulting.

Pay Transparency Laws :
The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $140k-$186k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of State / Region. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
