What the day will look like
As the Director of Corporate Sustainability, you will support the development and implementation of our global corporate sustainability strategy and play a leadership role on Aons ESG team. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that sustainability initiatives are integrated into all aspects of the business.
The Director will be responsible for driving sustainability goals, managing sustainability reporting including Aons annual Impact Report, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will report into the Head of Strategic Finance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support and execute our sustainability strategy in alignment with our goals.
- Lead sustainability initiatives across the organization, including ongoing measurement and management of Aons global carbon emissions and related reduction efforts
- Collaborate with teams such as marketing, operations, and procurement to integrate sustainability into business processes
- Support client requests and respond to RFPs related to corporate sustainability
- Manage sustainability reporting and ensure compliance with related regulations and frameworks
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Engage with stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and suppliers, to support Aons and stakeholders broader sustainability goals
- Develop clear and compelling materials for the ESG Steering Committee and other executive meetings, and participating in and / or lead internal working groups
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and deliver useful insights to support strategic planning for environmental, social & governance initiatives

Pay Transparency Laws :
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $140,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York, New York. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aons annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
